Cingular's marketing strategy paid off
The additional millions of subscribers are attributed to being the first in terms of new product offerings. They were the first to offer Motorola's Razr and Samsung's Blackjack.
More customers may switch to Cingular or AT & T after it announced that it will be providing service for the Apple's new iPhone.
